Definition : Authentic act - Authentic copy

Copy of the original of an authentic act, which is certified to be a true copy. For example, when attested by the notary who is its depositary, the copy has the same authenticity as the original act. This is the case when the notary issues an authentic copy of the declaration of co-ownership.
